Who am I
My journey began in Nepal, where early exposure to forests and wildlife sparked my interest in biodiversity and conservation. During my Bachelor’s in Forestry, I gained hands-on experience in field ecology, avian research, and community-based conservation through internships, research projects, and volunteer work with various environmental organizations.
Currently, I am pursuing an MSc in Tropical Forestry at TU Dresden, where I am strengthening my skills in ecological research, data analysis, and scientific communication. My work focuses on forest ecology, biodiversity conservation, and human–wildlife interactions through field research, scientific communication, and community engagement. I am a conservation educator at Himalayan Raptor and an Owl Conservation Envoy at Friends of Nature (FON), Nepal.
Looking ahead, I aim to develop as a conservation ecologist specializing in forest and biodiversity management, with a focus on evidence-based and community-driven conservation strategies.
